An Arabic international organization affiliates with the Arab Economic Union and the Arab league.

History:

Established in 22/11/1978 based on the decision of the Arab Economic Union number 745/27 dated 1976.

Damascus - Syrian Arab Rebublic.

The President of the Board of Directors: Mamdouh Thabet Maki-Egypt.

A Vice President of the Board of Directors: Talal Al Gazawi-Jordan.

Registering in the Union:

• Any leather industry with Arabic ownership of 51% and with funds more than one million USD, can register in the Union.

• The registeration application must be presented to the Board of Directors or to the General Secretary.

• The registeration application must contain detaled information about the economic activity of the firm and owenership of the Arabic fund with the commercial and industrial records.
