History:
Established in 22/11/1978 based on the decision of the Arab Economic Union number 745/27 dated 1976.

Registering in the Union:
Any leather industry with Arabic ownership of 51% and with funds more than one million USD, can register in the Union.
The registeration application must be presented to the Board of Directors or to the General Secretary.
The registeration application must contain detaled information about the economic activity of the firm and owenership of the Arabic fund with the commercial and industrial records.
